SHAPE is a ministry for young singles and young families in the parish. SHAPE provides adults with opportunities to plan and volunteer for events and service projects. On the 2nd Tuesday of each month, SHAPE has a monthly mass where it encourages young adults to participate as lecters, ushers and Eucharistic ministers. This mass is followed up with some type of activity for young adults to mingle and build a community.
SHAPE also sponsors a bimonthly Theology on Tap program at Hendel’s on the 3rd Tuesday of every other month. This is a great time to learn more about faith from engaging speakers that tackle topics that appeal to young adults. The group tries to provide events that appeal to all kinds of young adults, classifying an event as either “adults only” or “family friendly.”
SHAPE is here to help those feel welcomed back to the Church if you have been gone for a while or are an active member of the parish looking to jump right into volunteering and serving others.

Sacred Heart Athletics
The Athletic Association helps the children of our parish learn good sportsmanship, respect for rules, authority, and self-discipline among participants through organized athletics. Coaching is required for teams in baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball, soccer, golf, track, and lacrosse. As participants in the CYC Athletic Association, our coaches acknowledge their special commissioning as Youth Ministers, recognizing the diverse gifts and talents of those involved.
It is our hope to celebrate the best of these differences by promoting the peace of Christian living, the discipline of good sportsmanship and the joy of fair athletic competition. The association conducts fundraisers to provide uniforms and pay for the use of the gym and equipment. Meetings are held the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00. All are welcome to attend.

Ladies Guild consists of women of the parish responsible for hosting many different events such as the School Picnic, Ladies Trivia, Breakfast with Santa and more – all with the goal to provide monetary and volunteer support to the school and parish.
General Membership meetings are the second Thursday of every month September – May at 7:00. Each meeting has a different theme or focus with a special "Spotlight" planned, which may include a guest speaker or special activity.
The evening is filled with socializing, food, music, and a short business meeting to discuss plans for the school year. Free babysitting is provided by the middle school students as well! The Ladies Guild takes on a new life each year and is shaped by the women who belong to it.
